I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the stature of my immediate family (we're rather on the vertically challenged side), but I've always had a fascination with leprechauns. And since St. Paddy's is just around the corner, it seems appropriate to go into some level of detail on the subject.

I wasn't brought up to believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy, but I did have an interesting relationship with a leprechaun named "Morris". I'm not sure why my father took it upon himself to create such a being, but whenever something "odd" happened, Morris was to blame. I would regularly get letters from him (wish I saved them), and it was Morris who put money under my pillow when I lost a tooth. I guess he outranked the Tooth Fairy in my house.

So even if you don't have a drop of Irish blood in your system...such as yours truly... you're never too old to believe in the magic of the wee sprites. They're the ones you can blame for your feet mysteriously popping off a foothold or a hold spinning and spitting you off (robbing you of your on-site)! 

Anyway, here's to finding that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... or at least enjoying that big mug of green beer!

Job Description

• Greet customers in a courteous, timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Provide climbing instruction and testing.
• General facility cleaning and maintenance.
• Contribute ideas to better serve our customers and improve our facilities.
• Be on time and follow assigned work schedules.
• Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate groups.
• Data entry.

Qualifications

• Retail, climbing gym, and management experience desired.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of roped climbing experience including lead climbing/belaying skills.
• Available to work at both locations, primarily Centennial.
• 30-40 hours a week on average. Primarily evenings and weekends.
• Able to rotate shifts, as business needs arise.
• Strong positive customer service orientated individual.
• Dependable with attention to detail.
• Must be highly organized, able to multi-task, and self motivated.
• Reliable transportation.
