What's New at ROCK'n & JAM'n?
The heat is on!  It seems like we skipped spring entirely. And, given the amount of snow still in the high country, we'll be in for some wicked stream crossings to get to our favorite crags. Just remember when it's too hot or wet outside, it's always dry and cool at the gym!

Staff Updates!
We're proud to announce several changes on the RJ Staff front!
First off, props to Lauren. She's been instrumental to our counter operations and youth programs for almost 2 years and is being promoted to RJ1 Assistant Manager with a focus on our youth program development.
We'd also like to welcome two new faces at the front desk at both RJ1 and RJ2. Flan has been climbing (well, actually mostly bouldering) at RJ1 for almost 12 years! Michael has been climbing at RJ2 for close to 2 years now and will be joining our team this month also. We're excited to have both of them on the other side of the desk!
Please offer our new staff a warm welcome while they're on their steep learning curve! Also, congratulate Lauren on her recent promotion!
Additionally, we'd also like to welcome our youngest addition to the ROCK'n & JAM'n family (sort of).  Congratulations to Brendan (head routesetter extraordinaire) and Estee (former wonderful employee) on the birth of Kestrel - a beautiful 6lb, 11oz baby girl. She arrived with great anticipation (and labor) on Sunday, June 12th. Much happiness, not to mention lack of sleep, is being had by all!
New Guidebook Released!  Elevenmile Guidebook
Dedicated local and route-developer Ben Schmitt has completed a new rock climber's guidebook to Elevenmile Canyon. The book is 145-pages, and describes 480 routes with photo-topos and anchor locations. The book covers the highly anticipated new crag "Heaven's Gate", as well as several other newly developed and previously undocumented crags. Ben put a lot of sweat into the project, including bolting and climbing many of the new routes included in the guide. Available for $20 at RJ1 and RJ2 while they last!
