The Nick Rafello Scholarship was created at the Marie Stinnett 50th Anniversary dance recital in 2008. Nick was one of her students back in the 1970's and had the good fortune to have the very best teachers, Marie Stinnett and Valerie Graham, to guide him to a career he never would thought attainable. Nick, pictured here dancing with Marie in the late '70's, has lived his dream residing in NYC for the last three decades and performing in such Broadway/National Tour shows as Sweet Charity, directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon, A Chorus Line, La Cage aux Folles and Fiddler on the Roof. From stage to television he was able to live a dream that he is so thankful for. Because of this he decided to pay it forward. 
 
The 2010 scholarship will be announced at this year's Dance at the Gym.  Please mail donations to Nick Rafello Scholarship c/o Marie Stinnett Dance, 5108 Forest View drive, San Jose, Ca 95129.  Please include a return address to receive a tax receipt.
