As we enter the 2010/2011 school year, we are thrilled to welcome a new, highly-qualified college advisor to the Bertram team.  Each of our professionals has a unique area of expertise and all are fluent in the many options available to graduates today.  As the college admissions landscape evolves, each Bertram advisor remains on top of trends, such as colleges with green degree programs, and is committed to matching your child's unique needs with the college choices that are right for him/her. We work one-on-one with your family to make the entire application and admissions process seamless and stress-free.

Bobbi KreinBertram Educational Consultants welcomes Bobbi Krein, the newest addition to our talented team of college advisors.  Bobbi has 20 years of experience in private education and is an asset when it comes to providing assistance to those in the college search process.
 
Most recently, Bobbi served as an Associate Director of Admission, Assistant Dean of Students, and Assistant Director of College Advising at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, New Hampshire. Prior to this position, she held positions as the Associate Director of Admissions at Lawrence Academy and at George School.
 
Having sat at both sides of the admissions desk, Bobbi is well aware of the importance of the right fit necessary for success at both secondary and post-secondary schools. She is based in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Get to Know...

Nuria O. RubertNuria O. Rubert has spent 20 years with secondary school students as a mentor, teacher and counselor.  Prior to consulting, she taught middle and high school mathematics, tutored for the SAT and ACT tests, and was a class advisor, counseling hundreds of students through the college selection process. If your child is a student athlete, Nuria is a great advisor to work with. She brings a unique perspective to the scholarly athlete applying to college; her own three children attended Duke, University of Virginia, and Princeton University as student athletes. Nuria is based in Manhattan and Long Island, New York.


Patrick FinnPatrick Finn
is continuing to serve the eastern seaboard, from Philadelphia down to the Carolinas. After 23 years as an administrator in boarding schools, he is yet another strong member of our College Advisory Services team.  Previously, he held a position as the Assistant Head of School and Director of Admissions at St. Timothy's School in Baltimore, Maryland.  Prior to this, he was the Admissions Director at Canterbury School for 15 years.  Patrick has spoken at several national conferences, including SSATB, TABS, and IECA. Patrick empowers his students and clients by working with them to identify their own strengths, goals and interests. His years of experience with secondary school students form his unique skill in matching clients with colleges.

We see a trend toward "green degrees" and environment-friendly campuses. We can recommend the best undergraduate and graduate programs and ways to build sustainable practices into your family's life.
