Heritage Pointe is thriving and we have a full house! We are taking names for a wait list, and I urge you to contact Sara and Liz in our Marketing department directly. Please encourage people you know to begin the entrance process before it becomes a critical need, enabling us to ease the transition.
Thank you for all your efforts and enthusiasm to grow the Heritage Pointe community. Our collective successes keep us energized and focused on the goal: honoring our Mothers and Fathers as our Jewish Tradition teaches us.
You carry this message forward daily for us and in behalf of our seniors.
From Board participation to Diamond Donor gatherings to Chapter events, from trips to Cuba to Luncheons, from 5K Walks to Galas, from the "Pointe of View" writers to those who volunteer on- site: everything works because you do.

Safety First: Evacuation Training
Keeping everyone safe, especially in an emergency, is a daunting responsibility and one we take very seriously. This month, the management staff received evacuation training on the use of our Stryker evacuation chairs. Located throughout the building, these chairs are specially designed to assist elderly, disabled or injured persons from a multi-level facility during an emergency. These state-of-the-art chairs are lightweight and are designed to enable one person to control movement down the stairs without lifting a passenger weighing up to 200 pounds. We are ready, but hope to never have the need. |

The Diamond Donor Dinner, recently held in Bistango Restaurant, was a wonderful success. The venue resembled more art gallery than restaurant, offering mingling opportunities as well as a delicious dinner. Thank you to Leo Pinsky and committee for a terrific evening. Join the Diamond Donors who gift $1,000 per year to HP designated for this program, and be a part of our next gathering.

Generation Celebration 5K Walk:
A Walk in the Park,
A Family Day at the Lagoon
Join us on June 5th as we end our yearlong 20th Annivesary Celebration with our 5K Walk and Family Day at Lakeside Lagoon in the Wild Rivers Complex, Irvine. We are now accepting walk sponsors with levels from $500 to $25,000. Walkers can sign up on-line at $10 per person, and form their own teams. The competition for prizes is just beginning! Not a morning person and want to sleep in? Sign up for that, too at: www.heritagepointe.org After the walk, we can all enjoy a "day of camp" with kayaks, horseshoes, volleyball and much more. T-shirt and lunch are included in the $10 per person walker fee. Registration is required to attend. |
