Steve MartinOne of the best intangible benefits of a membership drive is all the feedback we get from listeners. We appreciate all the comments and suggestions -- rest assured we read every single one. It's also very gratifying to know that so many listeners love the station and the programs!

Spring Membership Drive Meets Goal
KGOU members came through for the station in the spring membership drive, pledging more than the $175,000 goal set by management. Thank you! We're still tallying and double-checking all the paperwork, and will have more exact figures for you in next week's Manager's Desk report.

As they say, it takes a village to make a successful membership drive, and many thanks to everyone who helped: our wonderful and dedicated phone volunteers; Café Plaid, Gaberino's Homestyle Italian Restaurant, and Jason's Deli for feeding volunteers and staff; and those members who gave funds to match donations, including BNSF Railway Foundation, Majors Energy, Joe's Place Wine and Spirits, Jasmine and Melvin Moran, Pete Pierce and Howard and Darcy Saxion.

And a big "thank you" to the new, renewing and rejoining members who answered the challenge! Even though the drive is over, it's never too late to contribute -- you can donate online anytime.
