Osteoporosis Clinic

In 2004, "Bone Health and Osteoporosis: A Report of the Surgeon General," reported an estimated 10 million Americans over age 50 have osteoporosis (the most common bone disease), while another 34 million are at risk. Other statistics and information provided in this report demonstrated these numbers would only rise due to aging of the population and the previous lack of focus on bone health.
Karen Gonzalez, C.R.N.P. and Dr. Mythili Seetharaman work cooperatively at OAA to diagnose and treat patients.
OAA is one of few medical offices in the Lehigh Valley (excluding the hospita ls) that provide ReclastŪ infusions.
ReclastŪ is a prescription medicine used to treat or prevent osteoporosis in either men or women, reduce fracture risk, increase bone mass, and treat certain men and women who have Paget's disease of the bone.
