Be in it, or just be there! OAA is again proud to sponsor this 4-day event, which features 10,000 amateur athletes competing in over 50 different sports, from arm wrestling to sand volleyball. This year's event also features a Health Expo, and, of course, plenty of food.

Lawn Mower Safety Each year, nearly 100,000 people sustain burns, deep cuts, loss of fingers and toes, and even death due to improper or careless lawnmower use.
"Please do not try to unclog a running mower," says OAA hand surgeon Jay Talsania, MD. "It's also best to avoid cutting grass when it is wet."
Following a few simple tips --and using common sense--can ensure that your lawn mowing is safe and uneventful. Our friends at AAOS have these recommendations. |
