STONEHEDGE FIBER MILL
As part of the process of working with Nora Bellows of Noni Designs, she introduced me to a wonderful yarn called Shepherds Wool from Stonehedge Fiber Mill.
It is a wonderfully soft 100% wool that Nora loves for felting. Some of our customers have purchased it for their Noni bags, and others have bought it because it feels so wonderfully soft and warm. It has great stitch definition and a beautiful warm color palette.
I am slowly bringing in all the colors, but let me know if there is one you want that I haven't ordered yet. I think you'll love this yarn as much as I do!

MYSTERY MONDAYS
Join in the fun.
Join us every Monday morning for a Mystery Monday knit-a-long.
Sign up on our website and receive weekly emails with instructions, hints and supply lists that will have you creating a fun project as you go along.
The new project has been picked and will start Monday, October 25th. If you want to participate you can start registering now and I will send you the supply list. This one is smaller, but you will learn a lot of great techniques and stitches. Just a hint,it calls for six skeins of sport weight yarn in different coordinating colors!

Pick a Noni! Any Noni!
Sunday November 7, 201010am to 4pmSpend the day with Nora Bellows of Noni Designs. Pick one or more of Nora's designs, finish knitting and felting it before the workshop. After felting, put it in a plastic bag in your refrigerator to keep it wet. Bing your wet bag to class, and learn Nora's' tips and tricks. The workshop will cover blocking, structuring, handles, beading, linings, and of course embellishing. She'll be coming with a large selection of hardware, handles, pockets, zippers, and other embellishments. Her sister, Laura Bellows, owner of JUL Silver, creates beautiful works of art that are used as hardware for her sister's bags, including handles, buckles, and other decorative pieces.Nora will also show us how to make her beautiful flowers to create a work of art!Check the website for details.
