Grand Opening Celebration!

We invite you to fall in love with knitting all over again at the Grand Opening Celebration of A Good Yarn, Sarasota's newest yarn hot spot!
Come join us for a full day of yarn-tastic events. We'll have ArtFelt demonstrations, trunk shows featuring the newest fall fibers from Brown Sheep, Classic Elite, Misti Alpaca, Plymouth, and Skacel, and
giveaways throughout the day.
From 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Cliff Haack, of Skacel, will be doing a hat-in-an-hour clinic featuring fabulous colors from the Skacel Grande collection. So many colors that you'll want a hat in each.
The highlight of our day will be a book singing and live web chat with knitting legend, Barbara Walker. Come meet Barbara from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and have her sign one of her wonderful books. Get one signed for you and your friends, they make great gifts. Then from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm she will answers questions from her knitting fans during her live web chat on planetpurl.com. For all of our A Good Yarn fans that can't join us in Sarasota please log on and get in on the action. Of course Barbaras' knitting books are for sale at the shop.
