Granot Matriarchal BlessingArchie Granot's exquisite papercuts, such as "Matriarchal Blessings," at left, have renewed and enhanced a traditional Jewish art form. Granot uses multiple layers of interlaced designs to create three-dimensional reliefs. His unique works utilize Hebrew inscriptions and Jewish imagery. Granot's inspirations are biblical, Talmudic, rabbinical and Jerusalem among others. His work includes ketubot, blessings for the home, ceremonial objects and books, including a Haggadah.
