It is our sad duty to report the death on Tuesday, January 4, of our friend and fellow congregant Joyce Blumberg Schwartz, a long-time member of Temple Israel and Tikvat Israel, wife of Arnold Schwartz and the late Walter Blumberg, and mother and grandmother, respectively, of our friends and fellow congregants Sue Plesset and Michelle Bellman.

The funeral service will be held at Tikvat Israel at 12:00 noon tomorrow, Thursday, January 6, with interment at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, VA. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Jay and Sue Plesset, 10027 Chartwell Manor Court, Potomac, MD, with evening minyanim on Thursday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

May Arnold and Sue and Michelle and all of Joyce's family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may she be remembered for a blessing.
