| Extend Holiday Greetings to the TI Community in the September Bulletin |
For the first time in many years we will be publishing High Holiday greetings in the
September Tikvat Israel
Bulletin from members and friends of
the congregation. This is a wonderful way to extend your best wishes for the
coming year to the entire community and to be "green" by saving on paper and
envelopes. A contribution of $18 is requested for each greeting.
The extended deadline for submitting greetings to
appear in the September Bulletin is this Sunday, August 15. A supplemental list will appear in the October issue for any additional
greetings that are received after August 15 (but before September 10).
To order your greeting, please fill out and return to the synagogue this form, along with your check made out to "Tikvat Israel Congregation." |

Sprucing Up
|
Thanks to two weeks of hard work by our custodian, Augustin Valverde, with assistance this week from member Sam Matathias (both shown here moving furniture), a thorough cleaning and waxing of all of the floors in the Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center is nearing completion. Thanks also to the ECC staff for their help and to the children (and their parents).
Please be mindful of the ECC furniture in the hallway while the floors are being completed.
Next up: The Social Hall.
