TIers Ziva Schuchman and Susan Fullenbaum Cycling Across America to Raise Funds For Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Parkinson's Cures
| An article in the June issue of the Tikvat Israel Bulletin that described TI member Ziva Schuchman's planned cross-country bike trip from Seattle to New York to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society should have noted that she will be joined in her trek by fellow TI member Susan Fullenbaum (and more than a dozen other cyclers). Like Ziva, Susan has been cycling for a cure for 10 years. This year she will be cycling for the first time for a cure for Parkinson's; her brother Michael was diagnosed with the disease a few years ago. Susan will also be celebrating her 65th birthday along the way in July.
You may donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and/or the Parkinson's Foundation of the National Capital by sending checks to Ziva Schuchman, 13516 Crispin Way, Rockville, MD 20853, or to Susan Fullenbaum, 704 Pebblestone Court, Silver Spring, MD 20905.
Both Susan and Ziva will be chronicling their 3,000-mile 7-week trip via blogs. Watch future issues of B'kesher for links to their sites after they begin pedaling in mid-June.
