Plan to
join us on Sunday, June 6, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, as we beautify the outside of our synagogue building.

Volunteers are needed (children on up) to complete exterior painting projects, trim shrubbery, clean out garden beds, and make minor repairs around the outside of the building.
Please bring gardening tools (pruning saws, shovels, brooms, rakes, and clippers) if you have, along with paint brushes/rollers, and sandpaper. Drinking water will be provided.
Service Learning Hours will be given to students - please remember to bring your forms.
If you can help, please contact Alan at alaniapter@gmail.com or by phone at 301-460-9657.
~
NOTE: Thank you to those who came on May 23 despite the weather. We regret the decision to postpone to the June 6 rain date, but we did not feel right asking people to work outside while it was pouring rain.
In the event of bad weather that could affect a scheduled TI event, we recommend calling our TI Weatherline--301-762-7338, ext. 360. We publicized and used this call-in feature extensively during the February snowstorms, and updated it with the postponement information for May 23 as soon as the decision was made. Information is also sent via the listserves and B'kesher updates, the latter of which are sent to everyone in the synagogue with an email address.
