Lester Smith is a two-time cancer survivor and this book is his story of hope and inspiration to fight cancer and would make an amazing gift for anyone who is dealing with cancer personally or with someone they love. Seasons Greetings!!
This issue of our BBBC Newsletter is dedicated to last minute gift ideas and our upcoming events. Please plan to join us in January as we kick-off our voting for the Pink Well Challenge. If you' re not a fan of these types of things, please let this be your first opportunity to get involved. It will be painless and will only take a few seconds every day and could have a HUGE impact on breast cancer patients as we work to win a $50,000 grant from The Lester and Sue Smith Foundation. FOR BOOBS Poker Run on July 22, 2011. Hard to believe, but it's true! We will be offering a $5.00 off Early Bird Registration for those who want to get a jump on things. All who sign up by June 1 will receive an invite to our VIP Party on Friday night, July 20. The July 20 party will be for pre-registrants only, so don't miss out on the fun! And all who register by June 1 will be registered to win a fabulous prize. So why wait? Get signed up and SAVE .
We will also be registering volunteers and looking for your feedback. SO GET INVOLVED and bring your great ideas to the dealership and help us make our events bigger and better than ever. Also on January 21 at the dealership we will asking for your help in another way (Don't worry... it's FREE!). The Pink Kick-Starter Project of Bikers Battling Breast Cancer has been named one of the 30 nationwide finalists for the Pink Well Challenge! The Lester and Sue Smith Foundation is based in Houston, TX and Lester Smith is focused on bringing awareness to organizations that actually touch those in the battle...and you can bet that is exactly what we are trying to do with the Pink Kick-Starter™ Project! The challenge requires each organization to create a video that will be posted on the official Pink Well website ~ www.PinkWell.org, and then we must do our best to get friends, family and total strangers to go to the site every day for 6 months (you read that right...January 16 - May 15) and watch and vote for our video. The finalist with the most votes wins $50,000. An amazing amount for us which would allow us to provide hundreds of kits...which sounds like a lot but one of the hospitals that we work with has over 300 newly diagnosed patients in one year! The numbers are astounding...but then again every three minutes a women is diagnosed with breast cancer so we need all the help we can round up. There will be iPad stations for your voting ease AND Harley-Davidson of Atlanta will be offering a 5% discount coupon to you JUST FOR VOTING!

Come out to Atlanta's biggest motorcycle show of the year and look for our PINK tent. We will be set up next to the Lawbike.com Bus (THANK YOU, CHUCK WATWOOD). The first 100 people each day to show up in a Bikers For Boobs event shirt from ANY year will win a special prize. Much like our Halfway Party, we will be offering a $5.00 Early Bird Discount for those registering for Bikers For Boobs and we will be signing up volunteers and voting for BBBC in the Pink Well Challenge. Also, during the early afternoon on Saturday, you will have a chance to meet our 2012 Ms. 1-in-8!! Her identity is a secret but let me assure you that she is a SURVIVOR and will be a wonderful spokesperson for our charity.
