It's Time to Register for Your Summer 2010 Courses!
Online registration opens March 29. You will find a list of the CRNs with meeting dates and the course materials list on the GTL webpage for Current Students. Students working with the Financial Aid office will need to register for both summer terms I & II.

7th Generation Fund
Are You Interested in Working with American Indian Communities?
 
Native Teachers for the 7th Generation Grant offers:
  • Tuition support ($15,000/yr max.),
  • Monthly stipend,
  • Academic and social support,
  • Training in the use of the Ojibwe language,
  • Cultural experiences, and
  • Attendance at related workshops/conferences. 
Program applicant requirements:  
  • Acceptance into the Graduate Teaching Licensure (GTL) Program,
  • American Indian heritage (enrolled or descendent),
  • Commitment to teaching in schools with high American Indian Populations, and
  • 2 Additional Courses: Teaching the American Indian Student & Ojibwe Language Experiences.

Events
North Dakota 2010 Job Fair for Educators

The fair, held in Grand Forks, is open to any candidate seeking a position in education. The fee for all candidates is $10 (until April 16). After April 16, no further registrations will be accepted until the day of the event. Registration at the door will be $15.

 

As of March 19, employers are registered from Alaska, Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Saipan, MP.
