Legislative Update with Senator Mike Jorgenson
April 10, 2009
Week 13
Corrected Monday April 13th
Dear Friends and Neighbors,

This email is an amended, corrected and updated Legislative Update which you are receiving due to a pair of glaring oversights in the original document.

Both oversights occured due to administrative errors on the part of the individuals who prepare the technical delivery of this email and its online program.  The first incorrectly named Officer Kralicek's Christian name as John and not Michael.  This oversight occured due to the individual preparing the document simply not being as familiar with Michael as he might have been.  My apologies to Michael, his family and his supporters.

The second oversight was the complete deletion of a paragraph I had supplied which was to warmly and richly congratulate Ruthie Johnson on her appointment to the Idaho Commission on Human Rights.  I had written a wonderful short piece which detailed my long relationship with Ruthie and it was upsetting to me that it wasn't included.  Ruthie is someone I respect immensely, someone who I feel is like a mother to me and her re-appointment to this Commission is a benefit to all Idahoans.  I was exceptionally pleased to carry her nomination on the Senate floor and I applaud Governor Otter for putting her name forward.  My apologies for this omission on Friday.

As always, please continue to contact me with your thoughts and comments.

Sincerely yours,

Mike Jorgenson
