Europa install in Papua New Guinea

D&K Distributor, Hilton Laminating Co PL Australia, has recently carried what is believed to be the first install of a fully automated Laminating System in Papua New Guinea. The customer, Moore Printing, has complimented the print finishing operation with the installation of a Europa B2 laminating System which is replacing a hand fed machine that simply could not cope with the volume of work.
Moore's General Manager/Director David Doig's decision to buy the Europa was based on a demonstration he had on the D&K stand at Drupa this year and was impressed with the robustness and ease of operation of the machine.
Ron Angus of Hilton Laminating said "Gary Haslam (pictured below) asked us to train 6 of Moore's 230 Papua New Guinean staff to run the machine which would be operating over two shifts around the clock.
the install and training was a delight as the trainees were eager to learn and very proud of the company's new purchase!"
