Printemat sprl, distributor in Benelux for D&K products, will be exhibiting at this year's Print 2011 which is taking place in Brussels on 12/13 October. 

The two companies have been working together on machine and consumable sales in Belgium, Netherlands & Luxemburg since early 2005.

Printemat will be showcasing our extremely popular Europa B2 compact fully automated laminator. The Europa has gained sales of over 100 machines since its launch at IPEX 2010.

In addition to the Europa the versatile Jupiter DS will be put through its paces on Stand C021. The Jupiter DS has B2 capability but has retained a compact footprint; despite having the ability to laminate one/two-sides in one pass.  To further increase productivity the Jupiter DS is fitted with electrical heated rollers rather than the oil filled version. This results in quicker heat up times and cool down periods are also reduced meaning faster changes between single and double-sided work.  The fitting of air shafts on the film mandrels also means quicker roll changes.  All of the Jupiter range can be fitted with our new Stacker which further increases productivity.

Robin French, MD of D&K Europe, said "There will be at least 11 exhibitions this year where products from D&K Europe will be shown - plus, of course, the trade shows in D&K America's programme. This follows a very successful IPEX for us last year. We are now building up a very good network of distributors and will look to capitalise on this at DRUPA next year, where we have increased our space by 25% over last time."

Following the acquisition last year of Bienfang Framing Products D&K Europe is now able to offer both the Masterpiece® and also the Expression® Vacuum Press ranges.

The Bienfang® 550 Mechanical Presses are the versatile and dependable choice of framing professionals for the creative mounting and laminating of photos, artwork and posters, among other materials. There are the original soft-bed dry mounting/laminating presses with adjustable  66-149 C (150-300 degree F) temperature control. The presses can accept larger jobs - just complete the task one area at a time. Pressure adjusts to fit materials up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick. Standard features include built-in electronic temperature control with digital display and touchpad controls. Six pre-set programs for efficient operation, or set your own desired time & temperature.

D&K Europe is poised to take over the marketing of this range outside of the Americas following a necessarily protracted period assimilating products into the D&K Group operation.

Robin French says "The picture framing and photographic markets never were really separated when it came to the presentation of images. There were differences in handling litho prints and resin coated papers, of course, but with the increasing prevalence of digital output we are finding our equipment and materials are ever more relevant. We showed people at Focus on Imaging in March this year a taste of the equipment we will be able to offer, and will be rolling out the full range over coming months
