D&K will be exhibiting again at Northprint next year - with the first UK showing of the B2 Europa fully automated laminator.

 

IIR Exhibitions Ltd, organisers of the show, say "Northprint 2011 is the largest general print event for the UK market and ideally timed to provide visitors with a superb industry shop window. The general consensus is that we are starting to experience an improved level of trading against the background buzz that Ipex created in May 2010. 

 

Northprint is ingrained into the national graphic arts calendar, having run for over 40 years and attracts visitors from throughout the UK with 60% travelling from the north and 40% from the south. Northprint 2011 is being billed as the NEW Northprint stacked with new initiatives, features and a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers from throughout all aspects of the print production chain

We will be closing for the holidays on Friday 24th December and will re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2011.

Last despatch day for UK deliveries before the shutdown is Wednesday 22nd December.

Strong global demand for polyester products in partcular have escalated the cost of basic polyester raw materials.  Polyesters biggest increase has been in the making of TFT/Plasma Screens, Solar Panels, iPod and similar screens creating world-wide shortages.

The EXP Plus range is designed to offer a combination of versatility, economy and ease of use.

Both the EXP Plus 42 and EXP Plus 62 accepts a wide range of thermal, heat activated and pressure sensitive films to mount, laminate and encapsulate.

The heating of top and bottom rollers is variable and independently controlled to allow for the use of a variety of thermal and pressure sensitive films.  A bank of cooling fans between the nip and pull rollers gives optimum results with thermal films.
