| How to store your film rolls |
 |
|
All films should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and in the box they were shipped in, if possible. Also, consider using a first-in, first-out stock rotation system. Nylon should always be stored in the silver wrapper it came in - this helps maintain its inherent non-curl properties and prevents waste due to excessive moisture ingress. Exposure of film to chemicals. Polypropylene has good resistance to chemicals - polyester and nylon do not. If these films have to be exposed to such an environment, it would be best for polyester and nylon to be situated as far from the chemical source as possible. The polypropylene may be stored closer to the chemical source with the proper bagging of any partial rolls.
