Fall Festival A Success! This past Saturday, the City of Tega Cay hosted our Annual Fall Festival. Thanks to a wonderful venue and Chamber of Commerce weather, crowds showed up in record numbers.

Michele McGuire, this year's Festival Chair, and her team started the day around 6 a.m. preparing for the 93 vendors to arrive. By 10:30 a.m., the crowds began showing up at the Glennon Center and continued showing up until the last vendor left.
"I couldn't be happier with how the day went", said McGuire. "All the volunteers and City staff worked hard to make sure that everyone had an enjoyable time." For many of the volunteers, this was their first time planning and even working our annual Fall Festival.
"An event of this magnitude can easily overwhelm even the most seasoned volunteer", said Charlie Funderburk, Operations Director for the City. "I was concerned early on with having a brand new Community Relations Committee and a brand new venue for the Festival. I couldn't be more proud of this group of volunteers. The event was a tremendous success." There were many volunteers, including City Council, who worked hard for the past few months and especially the day of, to make this event happen.
A special thanks to Rob Barringer, Jim MacBride, Tracey Goldstone, Tom Ftizpatrick, Michele McGuire and the entire Community Relations Committee for a job well done!
