There are some exciting new things happening with the concert season this year! The season is expanding from 4 concerts to 5! The last concert, in October, will be combined with Fall Festival on Saturday, October 30th in the Stonecrest parking lot. This concert, featuring Lindy Dobbins & the Red Velvet Manx, will be Tega Cay's first Octoberfest! Reduce-Reuse-Recycle! This season, in effort to reduce our waste, as well as the number of plastic cups used at the concerts, we'll be offering Tega Cay Concert Series Souvenir Cups. The cups are $10, and with each use, get $.50 off your beer. The cups can be purchased prior to the start of the season at Town Tavern, or at the concerts at the Town Tavern booth. Luxury Lawn Seating! No more arriving early to stake out your seats! No more waiting in line for drinks! Out in left field (the shady side) 10x10 "boxes" will be marked off for Luxury Lawn Seating. Only $100 for the whole season, groups of four get 4 nylon Tega Cay Concert Series Souvenir Chairs, 4 reusable Tega Cay Concert Series Souvenir Cups, and best of all - beverage service from Town Tavern! Beach & Swim Club Is Open For The Summer
Summer may not be officially here until June, but for many Tega Cayans summer begins when the pool is open. So here we go . . . Summer is here. Below is some information about the BSC and all that it has to offer.
Office Hours Office hours are Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM- 5 PM (We may add additional evening and weekend hours beginning in June. When and if we do, these changes will be posted to the website.)
Memberships Many of you still need to have your photos renewed for your membership. If you haven't done so yet, don't worry, our lifeguards will let you in this coming weekend. After that, you'll have to have them updated before you are allowed to enter the pool again. If you can't make it by my office during business hours, just email me and we can try to schedule a time that is convenient for you. Also, for those of you that took advantage of our payment plan, don't forget your final payment is due by Friday, April 30th, at 5 PM. Those still needing to make payments must do so at the Administration Office located at 120 Shoreline Pkwy. (Billie is now stationed in that office and will be happy to assist you.) Swimming Lessons Swim Lesson registration will begin on Monday, May 3rd at the Beach and Swim Center. Spaces are limited and they will be on a first come first serve basis. For more information on the swim lessons please visit http://www.tegacayrec.com/Beach_and_swim_center.html or visit the Beach and Swim Center.
Adult Early Bird Swimming Beginning June 7th, we will have the pool open for adult lap swim (18 and older only) from 6 AM- 7:30 AM. Stop by to get a few laps in before work (or before the kids get up) this summer. Once you're finished, make use of our showers and changing rooms before heading off to work. Please note, if the interest level in this new offering is not sufficient, we will discontinue it. Concession Stand Unfortunately, we will be discontinuing our concession stand this summer. We are working on obtaining full service vending machines and hope to have these in place by Memorial Day weekend. As always, you are more than welcome to bring in your own snacks and drinks. There is still to be no alcohol, chewing gum or glass containers at the facility. Policies & Procedures Since the close of the pool last year, the Pool Committee and Staff have been hard at work updating the Policies and Procedures. Many of these changes were a direct result of input from the members. The Policies and Procedures will be reviewed every year. If you would like the opportunity to join the Pool Committee, please don't hesitate in letting me know. I have listed a few of the new changes below: Guest Policies Members will have the opportunity to charge guest passes on days the office is closed and will have (7) seven days to pay for them. After time permitted if not paid in full or arrangements made with the office your membership will be suspended until payment is received. You will be required to sign for the passes with the lifeguard upon entering the pool area. Nanny Pass Nanny Passes may be purchased for members with nanny/babysitters at a discounted rate. It can only be purchased in conjunction with a family pass. The price of this membership is $80.00. There must be a waiver signed for all nannies under the age of 18 years old. It is the nanny's responsibility to get a temporary parking pass from the lifeguards upon entering the pool each visit. Swimming Pool
- Wet swimwear is not allowed past the changing rooms in the clubhouse
- Shoes and shirts are required in the clubhouse
- No glass or breakable items allowed in the pool area
- Children not completely potty trained must wear an appropriate swim diaper; along with a rubber diaper (Please Note: The Beach & Swim Center will not have rubber diapers available for sale.)
Special Offer To MembersAs an added bonus this year, we will be offering a $50 refund to the first 50, current members who refer new members to the facility. This refund is good only for new membership purchased at the Senior Couple, Couple, Single Parent Family, or Family level. If you refer new members to us, make sure they give us your name and address when they register. Once they have paid for their membership, we will send you your refund. This offer is only available for the first 50 new memberships and will expire June 30th. Current members are eligible for more than one refund. Contact your friends and let them know what a great time you and your family have at the Tega Cay Beach & Swim Center! For more information visit: Tega Cay Beach & Swim Club. |
