Originally from Boston, Daria completed her cosmetology training in 2005. She has mastered the techniques of volumetric and clipper cutting. A Mizani Educator, Daria is an expert in customizing color, she has a natural eye for creating colors that can complement any haircut or skin type. Daria is a specialist in the art of round brush finishing and has also mastered many texturizing techniques through advanced training with many top of the line companies. Ms. Montgomery is certified in eyebrow and facial threading as well as Brazilian wax hair removal. With her foundation and principles in tow she continues to broaden her knowledge in the latest and most up-to-date techniques.

September is an exciting month at Alexander Myles Salon & Spa! The colors are changing and the warm weather is turning temperate, but we're planning to see summer out with a bang!
In honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month & National Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month, the salon is holding a special fundraiser on Sept. 27. Join us for a day of beauty, pampering, and relaxation - all for a good cause. We're donating all of the proceeds to help fund cancer research. Read below for more information.

Fashion Week here we come! The team at Alexander Myles is heading to the Big Apple for the biggest and baddest fashion event of the season. We'll be back stage among New York's most revered salons styling the coiffures of glamorous runway models. The staff of Alexander Myles recently spent a day with
Anthony Sebastian,
a National Educator and one of Philadelphia's most sought-after Stylists, to learn the latest in finishing techniques. Anthony took our team through step-by-step demonstrations, including ways to style without heat, styling hair more effectively using less product, and low-maintenance roller-setting and wrapping methods to get clients in and out of the salon quickly. Sisters Slaying Cancer
Alexander Myles owner and veteran stylist Toni Jackson and her sister, Chana Garcia, a journalist and blogger in New York, are both cancer survivors dedicated to spreading awareness and helping others triumph over this disease. Toni, who was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma, more than 10 years ago, and Chana, who is undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer, are hosting a special "Sisters Slaying Cancer" fundraiser at the salon on Sept. 27. We hope you'll join the entire Alexander Myles team, as well as representatives from the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, for a day of giveaways, champagne, specially priced services, and more. All of the proceeds will go to cancer research and are tax-deductible. The event starts at 10 a.m. We're looking forward to celebrating beauty for a good cause!
