Natural Paths
June 29th Herb of the Week
Eye Wash for Infections
Greetings!
This herbal combination is used for Conjunctivitis, irritations, removing debris and blocked tear ducts for horses, dogs and people. We do not diagnose or prescribe, but provide information and suggest that you share it will your holistic health care providers. It is offered with love.

Combine equal parts Goldenseal Leaf (Hydrastis canadensis) and Rose Petals and store in an airtight container. For EYEWASH, steep one tablespoonful in two cups of pure water just off the boil for 20 minutes. Cool, strain VERY well and add a pinch of sea salt to make it isotonic. This wash can be used twice daily for up to 10 days. Do NOT use goldenseal root, it is too strong. Use dried rose petals from an herbalist that are not contaminated by any chemicals.

We wish you and your animals good health and happiness.

Sincerely,
