Pro Tip: Keep Your Head in the Game by Owl Creek Staff
One of the most common causes for unforced errors is lack of balance. An easy way to ensure better balance is to stabilize your head. Many players follow the ball with their head instead of with their eyes when it enters and exits their strike zone, and this results in poor balance. By keeping your head steady, you are much less likely to pull away from the ball at contact. Follow the ball with your eyes and pretend as if you are balancing a book on your head and you will make fewer errors. |
