Be a Workout Warrior!
Did your New Year's resolution involve weight loss? If it did, then you might find it interesting to know that keeping a food log can double a person's weight loss according to a study from Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research. The study followed nearly 1,700 dieters/exercisers for six months and encouraged healthy eating and regular exercise. Ultimately, it found that the single best indicator for weight loss came down to keeping a food log.
How many hidden calories are in your daily intake that could be causing weight gain? Keeping a food log of what you eat on a daily basis is the best way to truly see what goes into your body when it comes to calories, fat, carbohydrates and protein.
Workout Warriors is a new, eight week program that combines group workouts, fitness and nutrition education, and weekly weigh-ins. You'll receive an exercise and nutrition journal to record your activity and food intake. Each week, you'll weigh-in then join your fellow Workout Warriors for a health and fitness lesson followed by a one hour group workout that focuses on a wide range of fitness activities including kettlebells, suspension training, weight training, yoga, water fitness and much more.
Ready to make that resolution a reality? Join Workout Warriors this year!
