Adult Fall Softball Registration
City-Wide Athletics Fall 2010 Adult Softball Team Registration will be July 26-30. Fee is $500 per team. Men's, women's and coed leagues will be offered. Registration information will be posted on VBgov.com/sports in mid-July. You can also get on our mailing list for a team registration form by calling the City-Wide Athletics Office at 358-0458.
A few notes about registration: - Registration is taken on a team basis at the City-Wide Athletic Office (4001 Dam Neck Road). Each team pays a franchise fee at registration.
- Participants must be 18 years old or out of high school.
- Games are held at various ball fields throughout the city.
- Register early! Leagues are subject to close-out prior to the last day of signups.

Looking for Softball Tournaments?
There are two local organizations that offer adult softball tournaments on the weekends at various locations in the Hampton Roads area. Contact Jimmy Grassano (Softball Nation) at 471-5921 or Archie Parks (ASA) at 277-3744 for additional information. Please note: these are independent organizations that are not affiliated with the City of Virginia Beach.

Youth Football and Volleyball Registration Approaching
Is your child involved in sports? Organized athletics are offered through the City-Wide Athletic Office in conjunction with volunteer Recreation Associations for youth 10 years old through 18 years old and attending K-12 schools. Youth football and volleyball registration will take place on July 10th and 17th. Sites and times are available here. Practice will begin in August and games begin in September. Most Recreation Associations also offer sports for children under age 10. Associations will charge a player registration fee and the sports/age groups offered vary by area.
