Four courts at Oak Springs Park are scheduled for demolition this spring. Repairs to six courts at Kellam High School are planned for this summer.
The Sunday closing time at Owl Creek Tennis Center has been extended to 6:30 pm for approximately 9 weeks, so be sure to enjoy the extra hours and get in another game!

Pro Tip: When to Poach in Doubles
 by Owl Creek Staff
Tennis PlayerEveryone wants to be that aggressive poacher at the net and finish points. Sometimes it's difficult to make the move to poach at the right time; we often move too early or too late. Here are some tips to help:

Tips for Poaching in Doubles
  • Develop the "I can" mentality. Poaching is an attitude.
  • When your opponent looks down for the ball, GO!
  • Poach on a diagonal toward the net.
  • Be ready for your opponents to reflex the ball back.
  • Don't let one or two shots down your line stop you from poaching.
