Fall is in full swing and there's still time to get involved in various tennis programs.  You can see what's available here.  If you have a busy schedule and cannot commit to a class every week, try one of our drop-in clinics below.  If possible, please call 24 hours in advance to reserve a space.
Drop-In Clinics at Owl Creek Tennis Center

Also continuing in the fall, our round robin is held every Friday from 5:30-7pm on the outdoor courts at Owl Creek.  Please call 385-2695 by Thursday to add your name and partner to the list. There is an 8 person minimum for each week and the cost is $10 per player.
Do you have a group looking for an indoor seasonal?  Please contact Mike Mustgrave at or click here for rates and an application.
Owl Creek Forming Junior Team
JuniorAlong with lessons, most juniors need match playing experience. With that in mind, Owl Creek Tennis Center is putting together a junior team from our facility. Participants in this program need to be able to serve and be familiar with the scoring system. This is a great opportunity for junior players to gain valuable experience!
For more information: Call 385-2695 or stop by Owl Creek Tennis Center.

Pro Tip: Get a Kick Out of Serving

ServingAre you looking to get spin on your serve?  Follow these steps and get the consistent spin we are all looking for.

  1. A proper grip is very important to a spin serve.  Using a continental grip (knuckle of index finger is on top of the grip) is best.
  2. Toss the ball slightly back over your head.
  3. For a topspin serve, focus on hitting from 7 o'clock to 1 o'clock.
  4. Racquet speed is important.  Do not slow the racquet or you will not generate enough spin to control the ball.
  5. Once you are able to develop the spin, work on moving the ball around the service box.
