Pro Tip: Get a Grip!

Many of us were brought up learning incorrect grips that make our games somewhat one dimensional. Most pros will consistently stress the importance of proper grips for your tennis strokes.  Why?  Adjusting your grip is a way of altering the angle of the racquet face as it meets the ball, which is important for a number of reasons:
  • Variety of stroke selection
  • Ability to Produce Spins
  • Placement of the Ball

Tennis Racquet Care Keep Your Racquet in Top Shape
  • Don't expose it to extreme temperatures.
  • Keep it out of the sun when you're not playing.
  • Put protective tape over parts of the outer surface that you might scrape reaching for low balls.
  • Install a fresh overgrip whenever your grip gets slippery.
