Child Care Information and Financial Aid
Resources for Adult Learners and their Families

Greetings!,

Choosing the right child care is often one of the most difficult decisions a parent makes. There are many factors to consider; some parents want to know more about the licensing process, while others wonder what kind of early education opportunities are available so their child is school ready. And of course, there is always the question of cost. Students at Literacy Source are often eligible for financial assistance to help pay for child care, which can easily eat up an entire month's salary. Below you'll find a few agencies that offer financial assistance to help limited income families afford to take their children to daycare so parents can go to work. Child Care Resources (see below) is an excellent resource for families who have questions about how to get started. Their team of child care experts can direct families to appropriate resources in the community and help parents locate after hours and other hard to find care options as well as answer general questions about choosing quality care.

If your student needs help applying for these programs, I am happy to help.
