|Counselor AND campers GROW so much at camp.
"I know BDC does a wonderful job of creating educational experiences for its campers, but now I think you do just as much or more for your staff! "
- Said by a Dad of a former camper who GREW to spend 7 additional summers as a BDC staff member.
|Self-confidence is one thing that GROWS throughout the life of successful people. At BDC we build a strong foundation to GROW life-long confidence-building skills!
"If we are growing, we are always going to be outside of our comfort zone."

Hello BDC Family and Friends,
Each year, my staff an I sit down and discuss the CHANGES we wish to make at camp in order for the following summer to be even better than the last. We decide the directions we need to GROW in order to create an ever more rich experience for campers and families.
During this month of April, I check all of those notes and revisit the many conversations and ideas that we all shared last fall. Now I make sure that we are, in fact, implementing all of the CHANGES we had talked about. This season at camp is a time of checks and balances, noting growth and double checking for CHANGE.
As spring settles once again into our lives, and we see the bloom and GROWTH of everything around us, I encourage you to add yourself to the mix. If there is a CHANGE you have had on your mind...start GROWING toward it. Personal CHANGE can happen in small steps - even micro shifts. You can grow a little bit closer to that CHANGE today. A little bit more tomorrow. And so on, and so on.
A year from now, it will be a year from now. What will you wish you had started today?
Sharing with you growth, CHANGE, and of course...
Milisa 'misa' Galazzi, DirectorBrewster Day Camp
PS. We are GROWING our program offerings to include more Choice Adventure trips for our older campers. Also, new this season is Stand Up Paddleboarding for kids and ADULTS! (Yes, you read that right!) Call us at 888-396-2267 for details GROWN-ups being campers at BDC.....
|BDC NOW: Rob and Misa picked these flowers for you! We hope that no matter where you are in the world, your spring flowers are GROWING as much as they are near the Winter Office! See you in a few short months on Cape Cod!
To find out how many DAYS UNTIL CAMP STARTS, go here.
STAFF HOUSING...If you know of any housing options for our STUPENDOUS staff, please email us here. We have a few counselors looking to rent a room in a house as well as a small group looking to rent an apartment or small cottage.
|Role models - like great counselors at BDC - help younger kids GROW to be wonderful adults! This is part of the magic found at camp.
|GROWING our friendship making skills is a huge part of what BDC is all about. Where else is learning to be a good friend the highest order of the day?
|These flowers are GROWING out of the cold, hard, ground...Most returning BDC folks know that Misa's favorite color is PURPLE because sometimes it looks more red and other times more blue depending on what's next to it. What is your favorite color and why?
"A year from now, you will wish you had started today!"
