ARTalk
at the Library

Sunday, March 11

2:00 pm

Ridgefield Library

Join National Park Service staff from Weir Farm National Historic Site to learn about the enormity of the restoration project going on right in Ridgefield's own backyard.  Historic objects from the Park's collection (never before seen by the public) will be highlighted as well as expertly researched reports and plans that guide and inform the restoration process.  A restoration of this magnitude only comes along once in a Park's lifetime, so don't miss out on your chance to experience it first-hand!  Speakers: Linda Cook, Superintendent; Jessica Kuhnen, Museum Technician and Caitlin Sjaarda, Park Ranger.

ARTalks is a series of lectures, workshops and panel discussions that focus on the arts, architecture and design.  ARTalks is sponsored by the Ridgefield Library and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists.

Festive Home 2012

A lot of artists have asked about participating in Festive Home 2012.  Information on submissions will be in future e-mails, but in the meantime we strongly encourage all Guild Member artists to take advantage of our Member Work link on the Guild website.  This page is used time and again to refer interested parties to artists--including some of our Festive Home decorators and Satellite Gallery venue hosts. There is no fee and it is simply done by submitting an image of your work and a link to your website to Guild Coordinator, Joan Isaac at rgoa@sbcglobal.net.
