CALLING ALL GUILD MEMBERS

Photographers/videographers needed for a collaboration with The Ridgefield Symphony.  
Looking for an artist(s) to collaborate with the Ridgefield Symphony in 2011.  The theme of the April 2nd concert will be April in Paris.  At this stage, we are open to any and all ideas.  Please email or call the Guild if you are interested in discussing the project further.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS

Register now for the Ridgefield Cultural Festival.  The Ridgefield Arts Council is hosting a vibrant cultural festival aptly called the Ridgefield Cultural Festival on Sat, Oct 2, 10 to 5 in Ballard Park (Rain date: Sat, Oct 16).  
 
Interested in participating in the festival? To learn more, visit the Ridgefield Arts Council's Web site (www.ridgefieldartscouncil.org) and download a registration form from the home page.  Registration deadline for performers and for those reserving a space for a booth is Wed, June 30.

SummerCamp
Multi-Arts Summer Camp
 
Back by popular demand, the Guild's Multi-Arts Summer Camp will begin July 5 and run for 6 consecutive weeks.  It is a day camp for ages 8-15 that runs from 10am - 3pm with half-day sessions available.  The studios are air conditioned.  Students are welcome to stay for fun lunch time activities.  Sign your child up today -- creative instructors will inspire and develop the artistic soul of your young artist.
 
Sign up for one week or the whole summer!  Your children will love it!

There's still time to enjoy the exhibition!  CameraWorks continues through Sun, June 27.  Guild of Artists' gallery hours are Wed - Sun, 12-4pm.

Artwork pick-up days are Wed, June 30, Thurs, July 1 and Fri, July 2 from noon to 4pm.  If you cannot make these dates, please call (203-438-8863) during regular gallery hours or email us to make special pick-up arrangements.  Summer Camp begins Monday, July 5 and the gallery space must be cleared for classes.  We will ship out artwork at the end of the show for those of you who supplied us with the required return shipping label and packing materials.

Thank you for participating in our Third Annual CameraWorks.  It's been a great show!  We hope to see you again next year.

artist and teacher Steven Assael will be the juror for this year's 33rd Annual Juried Show.

The Juried Show showcases artists in all media from the regional area. Receiving for the show starts September 9.  The show opens September 26 and runs through October 31.

Festive Home: Objects for Living & Giving

Seeking artisans, crafters and interested artists/
volunteers for Festive Home 2010
.
 
Please email the Guild at rgoa@sbcglobal.net to let us know if you have something you would like to sell or have interest in being on the committee.  We are also putting together a group of artists who will be working on decorative ornaments for sale.  We will also be having our stenciled canvas project again, so there will be plenty of opportunity to become involved. 
 
This is our most important annual fundraiser and it promises to be a beautiful show this year--our theme will again include decorators and decorative painters.  The show will run from opening Preview fundraiser on Friday, November 19 to December 24 with extended gallery hours.

MEMBER JURIED SHOW
 
January 2011 will kick off with our very first Juried Member Show.  We are very excited to announce that Lee Weber, gallery owner of Weber Fine Arts located in Greenwich, CT and Scarsdale, NY will be our juror. www.weberfineart.com
