Call for Entries: 7th Annual Juried Exhibit
|
Theme: Inside-Out
Personal View / World View: There's a lot happening in the world now, turning our lives inside-out. Grass-roots movements world-wide remind us to think globally and act locally. Artists are the coal mine canaries of contemporary culture. How does your art examine our shared conditions, experiences and zeitgeist? Do you see yourself from / on the inside or outside?
Our Juror: Anna Shapiro
is an interdisciplinary artist concerned with social and ecological issues. She has received awards and residencies for her sculptures and installations; her studio is in Providence RI. She is currently a board member at the Steel Yard and artist, catalyst at Waveylady Studio.
