Greetings! It is hard to believe it is mid-December in the Twin Cities. This morning Hobbes and I navigated around puddles and he found a few patches of snow to sniff. Just a few weeks ago, I pulled out Hobbes' booties and winter coats. Yes he has several coats - quite the fashionista! Now I need to find his rain coat! I just hope we get some snow soon.
Now you have some time to prepare for the cold weather. Does your dog wear a coat? Do you have problems putting on the booties? Or do they collect ice in their paws? Do you need some ideas for protecting your dog's paws? Please feel free to ask me any questions about winter wear for dogs. I'm sure the cats and some dogs with really warm fur coats just laugh at some of us!
With the holidays, travel, and parties, your routines change. Our pets love routines. You can help them with a few simple changes. Please let me know how these work for you and your pet.
Recently I had a wonderful experience with a gold finch that was lying on the walkway by our porch. I used Tellington TTouch® to help the gold finch. It was an awesome experience.
I'm keeping this month's newsletter short because I know you are really busy. I wish you and your family a wonderful warm, safe, and peaceful holiday season.
Take care,
