Greetings! Yikes, two days of 100 degrees was too hot after a very cool spring. Even Hobbes protested walking around the block. I don't blame him at all. I can't imagine how the pavement felt on his paws. Then I remember Musher's Secret can be used year round. I grabbed the Musher's Secret and read the container: "Excellent paw protection on hot abrasive pavement.... Keeps flies off and away." I didn't know you could use it for "fly bitten ears, open sores, cracked toes," and so much more. You may want to pull out your Musher's Secret and use it year round. It is available online and at many pet supply stores. Please tell me about your experience and if it helps you dog. With summer finally here, well at least for a few days, remember our pets are also affected by the heat. Watch for the signs of heat stroke and keep your pets in well ventilated areas. Be sure to have lots of water available especially on walks. For other suggestions, please read hot weather tips for pets. Since it is so beautiful outside, I'm keeping this newsletter short. Have a wonderful June! Take care,
Elaine
