Not only do many organizations tend to underestimate how frequently slip, trip and fall accidents occur, they often underestimate how damaging the situation can be as well.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that accidental falls account for the most hospital visits each year.  And while these types of incidents can't be eliminated completely, taking the proper precautions and performing routine maintenance on your campus may make a difference in the number of accidents you experience.
