Comparison of the Title IV Financial Responsibility Factors and the Composite Financial Index

The Austen Group has developed a tool that demonstrates the differences between the Composite Financial Index (CFI) and the Department of Education Title IV Financial Responsibility Standards ratios and composite and has agreed to share it with ABACC members. The link below takes you to an Excel workbook with three worksheets. Sheet one gives an overview of the differences; sheet two allows you to enter data and see both the CFI and DOE ratios and composite scores calculated; and sheet three contains the DOE strength factors, which you will need for sheet two.
