AIP Student Insurance Plan
especially for ABACC Member Institutions
Some of you may not yet be aware that there is another benefit of an ABACC membership - the opportunity to offer to your students a student health insurance program which is underwritten by an A rated carrier, Columbian Life Insurance Company, with administration and servicing provided by Associated Insurance Plans International, Inc.
AIP is a long time supporter and friend of ABACC. Over the years, we have had requests for an insurance plan of this type, but until recently, this has not been possible. Your willingness to participate through ABACC and to offer this plan to your students will help to maintain the plan and rates for future policy years for all participating member institutions.
Depending upon the size of your school, and your own student health insurance program's loss experience, it may not be easy for you to qualify for a student health insurance plan, or to offer a plan at an affordable premium to your students. The advantage to this program is that the premium rates are not based upon any individual school's loss experience, but rather based upon spreading the risk of loss over the much larger enrollment numbers available through association with ABACC. For this reason, it is not necessary for you to produce underwriting information on any existing insurance plan which you may now offer to your students.

UPDATES: ABACC's 51st Annual Conference
Register BEFORE FEBRUARY 1 to save $50.
Attendees: It is very helpful if you register as soon as you know you're planning to attend, even if you prefer to pay closer to the deadline. It helps to have a good idea how many people will be participating as we prepare for your arrival. Thank you!
The Florida Hotel is SOLD OUT - please register at The Hampton Inn (a very nice walk to/from the conference center.
Attention Corporate Partners: The ABACC/ABHE Exhibit Hall is SOLD OUT for 2010.
