New(er) Business Officer's Training Workshop now Business Office 360: A Comprehensive Guide for Financial Professionals

ABACC has revamped our NBOTW program, including revised and updated content, a substantially increased set of resource materials (fully online), and a quicker completion process.  The NBOTW program has been tremendously successful and this next generation, we believe, will take the program to an entirely new level.

The program, originally designed for new or newer business officers will continue to provide an excellent resource for newer business officers AND can now provide tools for a broader audience including up-and-coming business officers interested in a career as a business officer, presidents and deans who would benefit from a broad overview of all things business/financial, and board finance/audit chairs who desire an understanding of higher education business.

Current participants in the program are eligible for graduation from the program at the next offering of the program, February 2010, in conjunction with ABACC's 51st Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.  Personalized agendas have been sent to all current participants (if you haven't seen yours, please contact Bruce Hoeker).

To register, check the appropriate box on your Annual Conference registration form.

Best time to buy airline tickets.

Travel experts say to check fares on any Wednesday that's at least 21 days before your departure.  Most airlines reprice their seats on Tuesday nights or Wednesday mornings, and if flights aren't filling up as expected, you'll often see seat sales pop up and prices drop in an attempt to attract more travelers.
