Or do you remember the tree where He hung

That was carved into a cross?

A cross where He died to set us Free

With Hope for a Life eternally?

And when you hang the lights

Around the house and the tree

Do you remember He is your light

And expects you to be that beacon

For all the world to see?

What about the gifts you carefully adorn?

What about the star that twinkles on the tree?

Do you think of the night when He was born?

Do you think of the Eastern star that

Brought the shephersds to their knees?

Just what are you thinking at Christmas-time?

About all your parties...What and when?

Or will you think of Jesus on that night long ago,

When He came to save us in a manager in Bethlehem?
