I sent out the following 'Urgent Message' last week. In case you missed it, here it is again. You should find it interesting that, as the Liberals continue to blab that the recession is over and the 'summer of recovery' really is working and Obamunism is working, the Insurance companies are demonstrating the exact opposite by continuing to lower the rates and bonuses and caps and raising their fees. So...if you want to take advantage of the rates and bonuses we have been talking about, best call today and get on my calendar for this week - BEFORE FRIDAY THE 17TH.

Dollar sign with barbells 'Substance' is things and 'treasures' are your bank accounts and your investments and your savings accounts etc.

Proverbs 3:9-10 "Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine." Plenty still means Plenty. Burst still means Burst. That is abundance, more than enough, prosperity, riches, and wealth. Does that sound like He wants us to just barely get by?

"Barns" are your businesses. 'Burst forth...' are profits. We aren't talking wellfare and entitlement programs here. It takes putting God first in your stewardship and then it takes hard work, long hours, and discipline. We aren't talking government give away programs, not Socialist Security, not the lottery, not gambling, not Bingo...HARD WORK!

Proverbs 4:10 "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich." Some people are poor because they just aren't willing to work. Some are poor because they can't handle their finances. There are lots of reasons why the majority of people are broke. But there is one sure way to be rich. Be diligent, tend to business, work hard, and invest wisely. Proverbs 13:4 "The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat."

Here is the lottery, bingo, and gambling; Proverbs 13:11 "Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase." On the other hand, Proverbs 21:5 "The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness: but of every one that is hasty, only to want".

It is ok to focus on making money, not to make it your god, but to plan on having it. Proverbs 20:13 "Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty." And 23:21 "drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags." To live in abundance and prosperity, sometime in your life, you are going to have to get up early and stay up late, and put in some 16 hour days building your business.
