Summer days to remember...

Often we think our summer days must be filled with vacations, camps or outings to really enjoy or even notice them.  I love what Russell said in the movie, UP.  "Sometimes, it's the boring stuff that I remember the most".  It is so true as I reflect back on the days my oldest was little.  The time goes so fast, so many ordinary things I wished I had captured, all so easy to forget.  Like the basketball shoes that I refused to buy because they were so ugly.  They were black with red flames and yellow show laces.  Can you picture them.  He loved them and chose to buy them with his own money.  I couldn't believe it...now I wish I had a picture of them.  I can't help but smile as I think back.  It is the little ordinary things that create the extraordinary memories.

That is our goal with Project Summer, not to create events to celebrate, but to celebrate the little everyday events.  We have defined age categories so everyone can have fun digital scrapbooking.  Finally summer activities f.or kids that even mom can approve of, not to mention the great prizes including photo books, cash and even a laptop.

May your summer days be filled with memories,
