Welcome Amanda
We are so excited to welcome Amanda Dykan as a contributing designer for MemoryMixer. We love her style, and know you will too. Here is a little about her: I began scrapbooking traditionally in 2003, after the birth of my second son. It wasn't long before I was doing it all- rubber stamping, di-cutting and so much more. I actually quit my full time job to work part time at my local scrapbook store. From there, I moved up to the corporate office as the head of design and education for a national scrapbook store chain. I had dabbled in Adobe Photoshop, only to the point of editing my photographs. I decided to take it a step further and learn digital scrapbooking. I took a class at my local community college on Photoshop, and off I went. I instantly became addicted to digital scrapbooking. That same year I was offered a book contract with Design Originals, a veteran publishing company in the craft industry. Now, two years later, I have released 3 (soon to be 4) books on digital scrapbooking. I love to travel and teach classes on digital scrapbooking, as well as teach retail stores how to get involved in the digital industry. I write monthly articles for 4 industry magazines, including Scrapbooking and Beyond and Scrapbook Retailer. I have become an advocate for the digital scrapbooking industry, and have enjoyed working with other talented crafters along the way. I frequently speak and teach at industry trade shows. My true love, though, are my two little boys, Nicholas and Ben, and my husband Paul. We reside in a little town just outside Fort Worth, Texas.
Check out these designs by Amanda, in the MemoryMixer store now!
