IS BALANCE BILLING ALLOWED IN PI CASES?
COME TO ACS MEETING MARCH 26TH AND FIND OUT

At our first monthly ACS meeting on March 26th, 2009, ACS attorneys Steve Pincus and Yuri Nielsen will explain why you are almost always allowed to bill third party insurers in PI cases even if you have billed and collected from a health insurer. Many PI attorneys are simply lying to you when they say the opposite. Learn how to counter their arguments and collect your full bill. Full documentation will be provided to attendees. You must be an ACS member to attend. Join by going to www.AZChiropractors.org.

Also, ACS lobbyist Ed Wren, a 25 year veteran at the AZ Legislature, will be there to meet you and tell you what is happening at the Capitol. Learn how we are blocking the Board's effort to gain authority to raise your fees on an unlimited basis. Learn how we are blocking efforts to repeal insurance equality with Mandate Lite as we are trying to gain enforcement of our law. Ed is awesome - come meet him.

The new AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment allow a rating based solely on patient "subjective" report of loss of function. The Guides include a sample one page simple questionnaire. We will make a copy of this form for you and explain how to use it in your practice based on Dr. Immerman's 55 trials and 37 depositions in the past 10 years. The courts have concluded Dr. Immerman is an expert. You can decide for yourself. We know you will find this form very helpful. Plus, it's free!

We look forward to seeing you at our first ACS meeting March 26th. Time: 1:30 to 3:30 PM. Location: Arizona Small Business Association large conference room, 4150 E. Van Buren, Suite 150, Phoenix. Seating is limited so you must RSVP by email. Current and new ACS members are welcome. See you there! Next meeting will be the 4th Thursday of every month.
