BREAKING NEWS

JANUARY 13, 2009: United Health Care (UHC) has agreed to update its fee data. In a settlement with UHC, one of the nation's biggest insurers, New York's attorney general, Andrew M. Cuomo, has ordered an overhaul of the databases the entire health insurance industry uses to determine how much of a medical bill is paid when a patient uses an out-of-network doctor. Read entire NY Times story at www.AZChiropractors.org

ACS sued over this issue and you can read the entire lawsuit at www.AZChiropractors.org. Reimbursements will increase by 10-28% in 2009 for all out-of-network health insurance claims, not just those for UHC. Attorney General Cuomo called this one of the largest cases of consumer fraud he had ever seen. It appears insurance companies will soon be prohibited from perpetrating this type of fraud onto the public. This is a huge victory for all consumers.

Happy New Year!

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN ATHEROSCLEROSIS REVERSAL USING PLANT-BASED NUTRITION, NOT SURGERY?

Are you interested in atherosclerosis reversal using plant-baseed nutrition in place of surgery? If so, ACS President Dr. Immerman is assembling a group of interested DCs and you need to contact him now. These doctors will co-manage cases with physicians and will administer programs that will, in many patients, substitute for coronary bypass surgery and angioplasty based on solid, modern peer-reviewed scientific research.

Dr. Immerman stated: "We chiropractors have long led the way in maximizing nerve supply to vital organs. Now I propose that we maximize blood and oxygen supply to vital organs beginning with the heart. We can do this simply by changing what people eat. In so doing, we will be addressing an epidemic of cardiovascular disease with the most healthful, logical and economical methods. Our Chiropractic Cardiology Corps (CCC) will become the leader in the field. If you would like to join me in this mission, send me an email at aimmerman1@cox.net and I will reply with more information about the next steps."
