2-1-1 Big Bend News

August 2011

Dear  ,

Randy Photo
Randy Nicklaus, President
This was a very sad week for our 2-1-1 Big Bend family.  Rosey Ilic, our Director of Hotline Programs, lost her fight against cancer on July 30.  Rosey worked for 2-1-1 Big Bend for the past five years.  She helped us earn our national reaccreditation and established many strategies that served our clients very well.  In February we recognized Rosey with the John Kalafat Founders Award for her excellent leadership and mentoring of others. Rosey was a wonderful person and co-worker.  Her friends and family will miss her dearly but she will always remain with us in our hearts.

You will be missed Rosey!

A celebration gathering will be held on Friday, August 5th from 4:30 to 8:30, with memorial service beginning at 5:30 pm, at Goodwood Museum and Gardens in the Jubilee Cottage, 1600 Miccosukee Road. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations in the name of RoseMary Ilic be made to Big Bend Hospice Foundation.
